@yakkoTDI I thought you were making a Resident Evil joke, but I finally realized. I wonder how many of us lived through that (I mean, actually, since it was less aimed at the general consumer). NT was a solid OS, especially compared to Chicago/95. Its lifecycle fairly closely corresponds with my hardestcore stint in development.
I still have nightmares about Windows 95, but NT mostly worked.
@joelmw I got lucky, my first computer was a Windows 95 machine. My friend knew a ton about computers. He taught me how to reinstall Windows and said “Don’t save anything inportant on your computer for at least 2 months. Take that time to fuck with every setting you can find.”
I reinstalled Windows 95 so many times but I learn a lot. Sadly since XP came out I have had so few issue that I have forgotten most of what I knew.
I’ll say it, Fuck the fucking greens. Damnit, I even like green. Her father is horrible; can’t wait to see his demise. She’s weak and the worst kind of hypocrite.
I did like Alicent at first, and I don’t completely hate her still. I like how she slapped back at the conniving council, for whatever good it actually did.
I’m insulted all kinds of ways that you centered Daemon, who, while an engaging and not wholly unsympathetic character (beautifully acted by Matt Smith) is despicable, gross, narcissistic. Sexist much?
@SnDMommy I hoped I wasn’t alone. Honestly, I also think there’s disproportionate love for Viserys (guy who sacrificed his wife in hope of a male heir). I think he felt remorse for that and he wasn’t the worst guy in the end, but, yeah, Rhaenyra is the focus of my affections.
