Punk, post-punk, soul, country, twee/shoegaze, jazz…My tastes are super broad. I can generally find something I like in almost every genre, except maybe death metal.
I just saw KISS this past weekend for the 27th time & they put on a better show than anyone I’ve seen since the last time I saw KISS. SPECTACULAR LIVE EXPERIENCE if you’ve never seen them!!
Classic rock
Beatles, Rolling Stones, Hendrix, CSN&Y, Chuck Berry, Elvis, Heart, Deep Purple, Moody Blues, Buddy Holly, Temptations, Linda Ronstadt, Ricky Nelson, the Boss, the Who, Roy Orbison, Pink Floyd, CCR, Janis Joplin, the Fleetwoods, Melanie, etc., etc. Guess even, Don McLean, Johnny Cash, the Ramones, …
Classical Music. There’s evidence based research that demonstrates it is good for what ails many! Including depression. But I also like Easy Listening which is dying out. One of the last holdouts was James Last who passed in 2015. If you’ve never heard of James Last, it’s worth a Google search.
@Lancey I love some classical. We didn’t have music at work for several weeks so I would put heavy/dark classical playlists on my computer. I had some people think I was strange for enjoying it because I’m a metalhead. I guess they don’t realize how related they are.
@Lancey@RiotDemon
Mozart’s Rondo Alla Turca, Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata (3rd movement), Vivaldi’s Summer (3rd movement). Most people don’t realize how Metal the old masters were.
All of them!
Electric Blues (Hendrix, Cream, SRV, …)
Classical (Bach, Mozart, Tchaikovsky… )
Jazz,
hmmmm…
if it sounds good it is good!
Slouchcore. It’s a combination of nerd rock and lazy indie-folk.
