I don’t have a cat but I have a bird that destroys baseboards and other wooden objects in my office where I let him fly around freely.
He also chews up electrical cables which concerns me more than the wood as that could kill him. If you look closely, he exposed both the hot and ground and this cord was plugged in at the time.
I now have to put barriers around all the wood in the office but he still tries to get to them.
Depends on the cat. One likes to sleep on clean laundry. One keeps getting into the dryer we always double check for her now since the one day we heard “clunk clunk clunk” and saw a spinning cat. (Only her dignity was hurt).
We have a kitten at the moment… And the kitten is pretty fearless after being raised by two large dogs (yeah our dogs think he’s their kitten).
Anyhow, he likes to hide under objects and as you walk past he dashes out and leaps up your leg grabbing hold of your calf with his claws and biting down hard on your flesh.
My cat is a sweetheart but even though he’s been neutered while still young, he sprays/marks all over the house and pisses outside the litter box. So, we keep him in pants lined with a maxi pad when in the house.
So I frequently have to buy lots of maxi pads since we use 1-2 a day. I sometimes get weird looks (especially since I’m a guy) when buying them, but nobody ever says anything.
I really wish they would though. If anyone ever asks me what I keep buying so many maxi pads for, I will stop what I’m doing, look them in the eye, and calmly tell them “they’re for my pussy. Duh.”

Rest of the time he’s sweet and loving.
Ummm… All of the above!
