I got roped in to the “Science!” club. There was a regular science club, but we just met in the spare chem lab for lunch on Thursdays, and the teacher sponsor would buy pizza. Talked to him later, and they had required him to run a club, but he didn’t want to. This was his solution. He did take us to some concert once, under the pretense of “Lasers!”
@RiotDemon not really. I got a D&D game going for a few weeks, but hard to fit a game in during lunch, and those who wanted to play ended up meeting outside school.
Theater geeks and the less-cool athletics, swim team and drill team. I was a raging success at neither due to my clumsiness and general lack of coordination.

Academic challenge. Did model un, but that was mostly because it meant a day off school and spending a weekend with friends in a hotel
I was one of the stoners.
No clubs at my school. I was homeschooled.
Literary Club. We shared our writing and learned to present papers and critique as well as how to publish an annual collection.
