Honestly? I feel OoT is pretty significantly overhyped, but maybe that’s just because I never really got into it (or most Zelda games, for that matter). I’m much more of a Mario and Metroid fan, myself.
Metroid and Zelda started out quite similar, IMO, being based around puzzles and unlocking different areas with interesting enemy types and intermittent boss battles. Biggest difference was side-scrolling vs. top-down. OOT perfected that sort of puzzle exploration game in the 3D world, IMO. I’ve yet to play a 3D Metroid game though, I really need to get around to it.
Sorry but I am not really a fan of Star Wars.
I got the Smule Ocarina app so I could play the melodoes from Ocarina of Time. Ocarina of Time was also the first Zelda game I 100 percented.
