Given the number of thrift store “rag bags” I bought to use as rags and how most are still in good condition or better – some even unworn – I’d sooner save a step and just keep them as rags myself. Or cut them into a tank. Or upcycle them into totes.
On more than one occasion, I have purchased the culled shirts from other Wooters.
There’s also the aspect that my shirts from shirt.woot, Threadless, and other crowdsourced sites are designed by folks we interact with here on the forums. Sure, I may have bought it from (insert shirt site here), but the reality is that I’m buying (insert artist here)'s shirt.

I count the holes… if there are more than a normal T-shirt is supposed to have, I make a note to possibly think about throwing it away sometime later.
@awk I’ve retired three copies of Nocturnowl already. Because Anvil.
@awk I have a shirt I can’t wear in public because the holes make it obscene but I still clean the house in it or wear it to bed. Lol
Rarely. I usually only get rid of shirts that were specifically for work and I don’t want them anymore.
When my wife says, “Don’t you think it’s time to get rid of that shirt?” I think about it.
…Only when no one is looking (what’s old to me could be new to others). I have tried to pass them on but even street people snub their nose at 'em.
I get rid of shirts to put in a t-shirt quilt…and get a small amount out of the closet…then I buy more…I have a problem
