Define cup. I have had one cup so far today. It is a 24oz Tervis and my puny coffee pot says it is actually 3 cups.
@yakkoTDI yeah… those indicated “cups” on coffee makers aren’t even full measuring Cups(8 fl oz), they’re only 6 fl oz.(3/4 Cup)…
I myself have 2 “cups” of coffee most days, one 16 fl oz (travel mug from home in the early am), and one 24 fl oz.(Tim Hortons XL DD on my lunch break)
16 fl oz + 24 fl oz = 40 fl oz = 5 Cups = 1 qt(32 fl oz) + 1/2pint(8 fl oz) = 6 2/3 Coffee maker indicated “cups”
making anyone’s head spin yet with the figures?
/google why are coffee cups 6oz
Sorry America, But A Cup Isn’t 8 Ounces Everywhere Else In The …

I start the day with a triple shot nespresso and go from there. Dunno if that counts as 1 or 3.
I gave up caffeine 2 months ago. I’m sleeping much better and no longer get the daily afternoon slump. It was worth 2 days of caffeine headaches, although I still worship the smell of fresh brew.
