I got a lot of sore thumbs playing Missile Command and Berzerk.
How the hell is E.T. on the list considering how many cartridges were buried in a landfill? Also, how many people actually had a working copy of the game? I played it at multiple friend’s houses and none of them worked.
@Turken Kaboom! is a very good call, and those paddles remind me of, well, Warlords, but also the driving controllers and Indy 500, which was a lot of fun.
What’s the Activision game when you control the flying saucer? Also enjoyed Barnstorming (the crash sound and plane recoiling was great), Skiing, and River Raid.

@yakkoTDI I do in fact own a working copy, only because of the novelty factor (and it cost me $0.50).
@yakkoTDI I did have E.T. and it was pretty bad. The Superman game was pretty bad, too.
Yars’ Revenge

@2many2no I had forgotten about that one!
Adventure is the best 2600 game. as a kid I got a letter from Atari when I found the secret dot and signature… so that one is easily #1 in my book
NOBODY HAS VOTED E.T. SO FAR I wonder how long that will stay true
Megamania!
River Raid!
yars revenge
Combat. I loved wiping out my friends tanks!
Don’t know about “favorite”, but I played Night Driver so much in one go that my eyes hurt. And how did it get to be 3am?
Combat, Yars Revenge, Kaboom, River Raid, Pinball, Circus Atari… lots of good times on the old 2600

Sheesh, there are lots of good games missing.
BurgerTime. That’s the first game I remember playing literally til the sun came up one summer night.
