I recognize DD now that you’ve pointed it out. Slightly related, I’ve always preferred playing with a different kind of DD; that’s really another story, but maybe explains why I wasn’t more into Double Dragon.
Who the fuck is that joker on the far right (huh, that too sounds like a thing I might say in another context)? That’s a rhetorical question. I see the answers, but, yeah, no frame of reference for this old man.
The first four are way too obvious. In a good way. Cool design, btw.
@cinoclav Absolutely. At one point woot did a whole clean sweep of the catalog that had anything to do with Lord of the Rings. Usually you can claim parody/fair use, but in that case they nuked everything. Woot seems much more relaxed overall now, and less critical to what used to be very rigid practices.
Mortal Kombat is my jam.I used to have an all-original 25" screen stand-up arcade machine. It was awesome, but really big and heavy. I found it was just too big for our house so I sold it about 10 years ago.
I regretted selling it, but luckily there is a company that makes 3/4 sized arcade machines now! I picked this guy up a few weeks ago and it fits perfectly in my basement! Has MK1, MK2, and UMK3 on it!
No one is going to say the sega Nomad. It was a portable sega genesis that you hook up to your tv it was the switch before the switch. It was just too dang big for tiny kid hands. They pack too much awesome into the poor thing.
