Purr Villainy

Why are cats so often portrayed as villainous? Not entirely so, but certainly more than dogs. Why are black cats associated with bad luck? Why are cats so often associated with witches? It’s ridiculous!

Like, see right here. Winged cat with a devil tail sitting on top of a book titled Human Domination next to a skull. Please. We’ve gotta look beyond the stereotypes, people. I believe this cat isn’t villainous at all.

It is my perspective that the cat is not the owner of that book titled Human Domination. And cats like to sit on books regardless of their contents, that’s a known phenomenon. Surely the cat can’t read, let alone write! I mean, it looks a little smug here, but that’s just resting cat-face. Most of them look like that.

What else…

Those wings? An unfortunate mutation.

The pointed tail? Overzealous groomer.

The candle and skull, you might point to, but how did a cat light a candle, wise guy? How did it move the skull? No, these were obviously gathered by a human. The cat is just in the wrong place at the wrong time!

I know it looks incriminating, but this is all circumstantial evidence at best. That cat is just a normal cat. Not evil, not good. We gotta accept them as they are.

Although, honestly, maybe we do need a big cat to come around and stop Disney from doing what it does… At least make it watch its step a bit.

The mouse has become too powerful.

A Game of Cat and Mouse by GammaRay

Wuh-oh, we’ve got a couple of wicked designs this time. Cats with a threatening or sinister aura? Must be Gamma-Ray Designs. This Cape Town designer’s work often has, I don’t know, an edge or a grimness to it, though there’s plenty of fun stuff mixed in. Here, take a look at his website and Instagram page, see for yourself.
